Is It Mandatory to Use Original Data with External Devices for Hackathon Use Cases

In real-world business cases, we will get data from external devices (like IoT sensors). For hackathon purposes, is it mandatory to use the actual data from these devices, or can we use sample/mock data to simulate the use case effectively

    Mock data should be good for the Hackathon purposes -- can look at leveraging following resources, mentioned in hackathon resources doc
